OMK Access
01

Developed inside a Part-145 maintenance organization

02

  • How a specific procedure is really carried out, beyond what the manual says.
  • Who actually knows how to solve a recurring issue, versus who's officially responsible for it.
  • Which small workarounds keep a process running day to day.

03

Wat we ontdekten

Eén echt geval.

Inside my own organization, I noticed that critical maintenance knowledge , the kind that determines whether a procedure is done safely and correctly , often exists only in the experience of specific technicians. When a question comes up that isn't clearly covered by the official documentation, the answer usually comes from asking the right person, not from consulting a system.

04

Week 1–2

Interviews. Slow, incomplete, dependent on who's available to talk.

Week 3–4

Workshops. Expensive, static, limited to whoever is in the room.

Week 5–6

Documentation. Often outdated by the time it's finished, because the organization kept changing while it was being written.

05

Het inzicht

De informatie ontbreekt niet.
Hij is verspreid.

It lives in documents, in the way people describe their own work, in procedures that were never formally written but are followed every day. The knowledge doesn't need to be created from scratch , it needs to be extracted, connected, and made visible.

That's the shift OMK Access is built around: not documenting a company from zero, but surfacing the operational model that's already there, just unstructured.
06

De oplossing

Dat is OMK Access.

A platform designed to take the scattered signals of how work actually happens and turn them into a clear, connected, navigable model of the organization.

Connect

Documents, videos, existing systems, connected as they are. No migration required.

Extract

AI helps build a first version of the operational model automatically.

Navigate

Anyone can ask questions in plain language and get answers with real context.

TraditionalOMK Access
Data Moves between systems Stays where it is
Knowledge Sits in static wikis Maps to real operations
Processes Documented in PDFs Made navigable
Delivery One-time report Living, updatable model
07

Hoe het werkt

Zes stappen, van verspreid naar gestructureerd.

01

Connect sources

Documents, videos, and (over time) existing systems, connected as they are.

02

Capture tacit knowledge

Video upload and document scanning, to bring in the knowledge that was never written down.

03

AI builds a first model

Automatically identifies departments, processes, and people from what's connected.

04

A domain owner validates

The responsible expert reviews and refines what the AI proposed — this step is not optional; it is core to accuracy.

05

Risks get flagged

The model highlights which critical processes appear undocumented or dependent on a single person.

06

Query in plain language

Anyone can ask a question and get an answer grounded in the actual structure of the organization.

08

Less repetitive interviewing

Information starts more structured, so teams spend fewer hours asking the same questions across departments.

Less documentation from scratch

The platform produces a first draft; the process owner refines it instead of starting blank.

More compelling deliverables

A visual, navigable model instead of a static PDF that goes out of date immediately.

Faster risk detection

The platform surfaces undocumented critical processes instead of relying on someone noticing them by chance.

Built for regulated environments

Designed with the standards of sectors like aerospace MRO in mind, where undocumented process knowledge isn't just inefficient , it's a compliance and safety exposure.

Work that compounds

Every validated improvement remains available for future work across the same organization.

09

Faster onboarding

New employees can query the model instead of waiting for someone to have time to explain.

Fewer errors on critical procedures

The correct, current procedure is available exactly when it's needed, not just when someone remembers to document it.

Real visibility

Even the owner or manager can see how departments and processes actually connect, often for the first time.

Knowledge retention before it's too late

Critical, hard-won know-how gets captured before the person who holds it retires or leaves.

10

Beveiliging & vertrouwen

Toegang tot alles.
Opslag van bijna niets.

To build a complete model, the platform needs to see an organization's documents and information. But what it keeps afterward is fundamentally different.

01

Access during the process

The platform sees documents and information in order to build the model.

02

Structure is what remains

Only the relationships , who does what, what connects to what , are stored long-term, not the raw underlying documents.

03

Full isolation

Each organization's data is kept completely separate from every other's.

If an organization stops using the platform, no archive of their original documents remains stored externally.
11

Waar we nu staan

Today

Identified from inside a real aerospace maintenance organization, where undocumented technical knowledge is a daily, tangible risk. An internal prototype is currently in development, testing how AI can help structure operational knowledge in a real technical environment.

Next

Looking for a small number of early operational partners willing to validate this approach on real, specific use cases.

Built by someone working inside the industry it's meant to serve.
